Why kettos exists.

Anyone buying hook and loop for their range usually has two options: small quantities through several wholesalers – expensive and with no say in the product. Or direct import – with high minimum orders, customs paperwork and a supplier on the other side of the world.

kettos closes this gap. As part of a group with its own production, we have direct access to the factory. In Germany we take care of everything in between: advice, import, customs clearance, warehousing and shipping.

This gives retailers, online shops and B2B sellers both: the prices and design freedom of a manufacturer, with the service and reliability of a wholesaler around the corner.

Our production.

Our products are made at our parent company’s factory in Zhongshan, southern China. From yarn to packed item, everything happens under one roof: weaving, dyeing, coating, die-cutting and assembly.

That is why we can adapt widths, colours, adhesives and packaging to your needs – and we know every step before the goods reach you.

From yarn to finished product.

  1. Weaving

    Hook and loop tapes are woven from nylon or polyester yarn.

  2. Dyeing

    The raw tapes are dyed in high-temperature dyeing units – in standard or custom colours.

  3. Finishing

    The loop side is brushed, the hooks are cut from monofilament and set.

  4. Coating

    On request the tape gets an adhesive layer, covered with release paper or film.

  5. Cutting & die-cutting

    Slitting and winding machines cut the tape to widths and lengths; dies form dots and custom parts.

  6. Assembly & packaging

    Sewing, printing and packing – in export cartons or ready to sell with your brand.

Hook and loop comes in three material grades. We will advise which one fits your application and price point.
